Lifestyle Portraits
Sarah and I have shot a number of lifestyle portrait sessions this fall.
I enjoy these sessions more than just about any other. When people are free to be themselves you get the best images.

Prom season has begun. I saw these three taking pictures before their big night in a local park Saturday. (Ladies, make sure one of you sends me your email.) Latte Da
School begins next week for many. Though my college years were great, thinking about having to go back to grade school or high school leaves an uneasy feeling. This is Jenny, she's beginning her final year at Tuslaw High School. We shot this image Wednesday night inside her mom's coffee shop, Latte Da Coffee House. If you're in the Stark County area you want to visit it. They've got lots of food and awesome coffee, plus the decor is really unique. On the tennis court with Kent. We started early because the heat is becoming unbearable before noon. But it ended up being a perfect lighting day for a photoshoot.

Fleur de Lis dress
Recently I got to photograph model Katie in this amazing Fleur de Lis evening gown.
Once again, I made use of Nikon's Creative Lighting System by using two SB-800 Speedflashes and the D200. The D200 is set as the Master, controlling remotely two SB-800's.
These shots were all made at: f/5.6 1/100 ISO-100s
The main light had one SB-800 pointed into a Westcott umbrella, and the second was either camera left, or behind the model.
